Hey beauties, my name is Karen Monteiro and I am the Director of Kalocaly. I am a skincare enthusiast, beauty industry creative and a womanpreneur without a rulebook!

I have been in the beauty realm for over 10 years. During this time I have had the opportunity to work on some of my problems and others’.

I have seen my fair share of challenges, but nothing has come close to what I’ve experienced with Kalocaly. It has been a rollercoaster ride that has taught me many lessons in perseverance, resilience and creativity.

I love to be on the front line of innovation at Kalocaly, always looking for new ways to make your life easier and skin more beautiful.

I started blogging over a year ago now and I am still learning about the industry. This blog was created to share my thoughts, opinions, and reviews on Kalocaly skin care products that I have tried and tested. Don’t worry, it’s tested on me because all of Kalocaly will be Vegan and Cruelty Free. 

I’ve been using skincare products since I was a teenager, and I learned a lot about how different ingredients can affect your skin. What toxic ingredients to avoid and the best ingredients for each different skin type. 

This is the first post of my blog and I want to share my thoughts about beauty with all of you. I would love to know what you think about it and what topics you want me to write about next.
