How it all started
My Skincare Journey
I can vividly recall my shaky journey from adolescence through to adulthood, having endured several skin issues ranging from the usual greasy skin to acne, dry skin to facial blemishes... not an experience one would wish for.
It soon became a marathon journey of trying out countless over-the-counter skincare products, including harsh prescriptions from my doctors, with little to no success. Sadly, these products included toxic ingredients, and temporarily masked the issue.
Whilst suffering low self esteem, sleepless and teary nights, I soon directed my attention and efforts to detailed research and experiments. I started homemade DIY projects aimed primarily at fixing problems that were made worse with those over-the-counter and prescription products.
My 'magical self-help’ journey originated with an initial homemade DIY face mask formulated with simple ingredients. My sensitive skin could not tolerate harsh ingredients and my skin barrier was broken, yet my problematic issue a.k.a. acne still existed. Relentlessly dedicating myself to research on ingredients was the only solution I could think of, so I immersed myself in online research, workshops and YouTube videos. I ended up finding many more solutions to other problems before it dawned on me: it’s not just external self-care, but also internal that I needed to research. This culminated in the creation of homemade cream pots, facial oil mixtures, serums, herbal teas and supplements.
I soon progressed to advising friends and family on skincare; thereafter to creating DIY face masks and trialing skincare products on social media, with advice on toxic ingredients to avoid. Ultimately, my efforts gave me the idea to create my own brand to share with you. I give you: Kalocaly!
In my long journey of soul searching and self discovery, I too have walked the path of self shame much like countless others with similar skin issues. I now aim to serve you faithfully by introducing you to my clean, wholesome and beneficial products that will help you as much as they helped me.
Thank you beauties - I am so excited to share this with you!

Science to Skincare
Kalocaly uses cutting-edge science to create unparalleled skincare formulations that are based on scientific principles, not marketing hype.
Skincare is a very personal thing. With so many different skin types and conditions, it can be difficult for someone to figure out what products will work for them. I have always said that in skincare, if you don't try you don't really know. Because of this, I have found the best way to find the right skincare routine is by trying new products and seeing what works best for my skin.
Designed to target skin’s hydration requirements without harsh chemicals, the first product is made from natural ingredients. It is always recommended to complete a 24-hour skin test before use of any products that you purchase from Kalocaly.
Being passionate about the environment and sustainability, Kalocaly will strive to be vegan, with no animal testing or harbouring toxic ingredients in formulations that are otherwise found in some other beauty products.
This affordable but luxurious little bottle is designed with beauty goodness, but don’t just take our word for it - try it yourself.
